mason walking alot, still not really mama. 

Been too long

it's almost mason's 1st bday and haven't written in here in a long time.
all mason wants to do is walk-
gets frustrated initially when getting on all 4s


kaitlyn said today to my mom and aunt - i saw mickey mouse and minnie
she's talking so much more
throwing her toys
climbing everything
has been crying/clingy/whining more in the am dropping her off at daycare starting mid-august. think it's because ms. sharon left.now she's in a new class
takes her shoes off in the car
started to say "go get it"

mason has been trying to point at things more by just screaming more
has been sleeping through the night

Yea!! Mason has started to roll over and kaitlyn pee'd in the toilet in daycare yesterday!! missed that milestone!!! mason has been rolling but now it's more consistent. now if only he can go back!

Sleeping through the night!!!

amazed and hoping it'll last that mason has been sleeping through the night this whole week!! the only time he did wake up after 3-4 hours was Thursday night and last night. he went to algauer's with the family so his sleeping schedule was a little off but slept from 930-1 and 2-9. otherwise he's been sleeping 6-10 hours!!!

Fell asleep while listening to mommy read a book!

kaitlyn fell asleep while i was reading a book to her! it was so cute and amazed how much she's gotten into books since starting daycare!! this occurred wednesday 2/13/13 night. guess she was tired coz she didn't really nap.

survived the first 2 weeks

kaitlyn finished 2 weeks of daycare and I survived going back to work full-time. Today was the first time kaitlyn did NOT cry when I dropped her off in daycare!!! she said hi to the security officer on the way in, removed her coat when asked and started chatting with Ms. sharon. she even gave me a kiss and said good-bye when I left. YEA!!!

despicable party

kaitlyn celebrated her 2nd birthday. took her to church. started teaching her early in the week to answer 2 when asked how old she is. still being a rugrat but still love her so much! she took a nap with daddy while I finished up everything. very surprised how my iron-on tshirt turned out! even though i did ruin the iron - i think - i like it!!! she was shy at first when we got to the museum and hungry too. didn't really get to play much inside the museum but more with the kids IN the room. she enjoyed her minion cake and the party. had fun opening gifts although took her awhile. was tired in the end. party went well considering how much stress I felt trying to get things together and hubby either napping with K or something else. lol.
